What to expect during a COVID-19 Test:

For the nasal swab, a provider will put on a protective gown, mask, eye shield, and gloves and then collect the sample. This will involve swabbing the inside of the patient's nose with a skinny swab that is long enough to reach the nasopharynx, the upper part of the throat, behind the nose. The process takes a few seconds.

Cost of Covid- 19 Test:

Rapid Test with same day results:  $150.00  cash pay or use your insurance.

Covid-19 Antibody Testing

Antibody testing is a blood test that identifies if the patient has developed antibodies against the COVID-19 virus. If the test results show that the patient has antibodies, that would indicate that the patient has been infected with COVID-19 at some time in the past. It may also mean that you have some immunity to COVID-19.

What to expect during an Antibody Test

Similar to the COVID-19 test, the antibody test involves the provider putting on a gown, mask, eye shield, and gloves and then performing a standard venipuncture. The provider will collect one vial of blood and the sample will be sent to the lab.  All patients requesting Antibody Testing will be examined in Willis Urgent Care exam room.  Results come back from 24 -72 hours.

Cost of Covid- 19 Antibody Test

Check with your insurance plan for coverage before your visit if you are unsure what type of coverage you may have. Cash pay options for this test are available.   Urgent Care of Conroe will collect $50.00 upfront, and Quest Diagnostics will bill you $55.00.
